Pupils Help Plant “End Polio Now” Crocus Display
Pupils at Winchcombe School have helped plant over 2,000 crocus bulbs spelling out the words “End Polio Now” as part of a polio awareness campaign led by the Winchcombe Rotary Club.
A big thank you to our local Rotarians for organising this wonderful project and providing the corms, and to everyone – including our pupils – who took part in the planting.
We look forward to a vibrant burst of purple blooms in the spring. The display will not only brighten our school gardens but also serve as a beautiful reminder of the ongoing effort to end polio worldwide and the importance of vaccination.
